Old Felixstowe Nursery School was re-built during the Summer of 2010 in this residential area of Felixstowe and is a registered nursery provider. As a result of the re-build, the nursery boasts the latest facilities to stimulate your child in a safe and controlled environment. We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 and 5, 5 days of the week, 38 weeks of the year (term time only). We are registered for 24 children per session. We run a morning session from 9.00am to 12.00pm and an afternoon session from 12.25pm to 3.25pm. We also run a lunch club each day from 12.00pm to 12.25pm for a small additional cost.
The provision for children's development and learning is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage, which became law in September 2008 and was revised in September 2021. Our provision reflects the four guiding principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as the seven areas of learning and development that must shape educational programmes in early years settings.
